KLERAT 20 G WAX BLOCK
Brodifacoum 0.05 g/kg.
A: A rodenticide. As an anticoagulant, it reduces the ability of blood to clot. Rodents die by hemorrhaging a few days after consuming to a single feed of Klerat. The delay ensures that they do not connect the illness with consumption of the bait, so they do not become bait-shy.
I: A potent rodenticide used specifically for more effective control of rats and mice. Also used preventatively in protected bait stations. It is suitable for use in homes, factories, farms, food and feed storage facilities, restaurants.
D: KLERAT is recommended for use as "maintenance" (no serious problem, but wished to implement a long-term plan to ensure the area or facility remains virtually rodent free) and "clean-out treatments" (there is an existing rodent infestation that is serious enough to require action). For both approaches, consider deploying permanent baiting pOints using a tamperresistant bait station (Multiplex Bait Station) at vulnerable locations. Use 1 to 3 KLERAT wax blocks per bait point at 10 meters interval. Begin regular inspection and replace baits when necessary. The effectiveness of KLERAT as a single-feed rodenticide allows the pulse-bating technique. In this process, small quantities of bait (20-60 g or 1-3 blocks) are applied at bait points at weekly intervals. This process is repeated until there are no more signs of rodents.Normally 2 or 3 pulses are sufficient. Number of bait points required depends on the severity and scope of the rodent infestation. Large numbers of points may be needed with heavy infestations, and effectiveness is greatest with average spacing of five to ten meters between bait points. Bait points should be checked weekly for curative pulsed baiting treatments and every month if baits are put out to prevent infestations from becoming established.
P: Care should be taken to prevent access of baits by children. Klerat should be placed to prevent
consumption by non-target animals either by using bait stations (e.g. Multiplex Bait Station) or by placing bait in other inaccessible places.
Pr: 1 kg packing (50 x 20 g wax blocks).
