DEMAND CS with iCAP technology is a modern, high-technology formulation containing microcapsules of lambda-cyhalothrin suspended in water. With its power to fill-in 10,000 microcapsules per square inch, DEMAND CS offers unsurpassed protection and longer residual
action against both flying and crawling insects. The slow release of lambda-cyhalothrin provides long-lasting residual control. In use, the product is diluted in water and applied to surfaces using conventional compression sprayer equipment. After spraying, the water evaporates to leave the microcapsules on treated surfaces. The active ingredient remains isolated from the environment within the microcapsules and this protection provides extended duration of effect. Insects moving over treated surfaces pick up microcapsules on their bodies. Once attached to the insects, the active ingredient rapidly moves out of the capsule and into the insect, providing a rapid knockdown effect followed by a quick kill.
I: Demand 2.5 CS is recommended for the control of pests such as flies, mosquitoes and other flying insects, cockroaches, ants and other crawling insects (e.g. fleas and bedbugs).
0 : Demand 2.5 CS is applied as a general surface andlor crack and crevice treatment. It can also be sprayed directly to dungs. Efficacy of Demand CS is enhanced when interior and exterior perimeter applications are made in and around the livestock, poultry, and pet housing structures. For unoccupied areas of livestock barns or housing structures, apply to floors, vertical, and overhead surfaces where crawling or flying insect pests are or may be presenl. Pay attention to animal areas including stanchions, pipes, windows and doors, and areas where insect pests hide or congregate. Exterior applications to walls and foundation perimeters can help prevent interior infestations of flying and crawling insect pests. For poultry houses, apply to floor area (birds grown on liter) or to walls, posts and cage framing (birds grown in cages). Application should be made into cracks and crevices around insulation. Reapply after each growout or sanitization procedure. Indoor control can be enhanced by making perimeter treatments around the outside of building foun dations to prevent immigrating insect pests. For both indoor and outdoor maintenance application, mix 100 (flies, cockroaches and other flying and crawling insects) to 200 (for mosquitoes) mL of Demand 2.5 CS to 10 liters of water at 40 mL solution per m' . Spray mixture up to point of run-off. For clean-out treatment, increase dosage at the rate of 200 to 300 mL per 10 liters of water. Depending on substrate and dosage rate, a liter of Demand 2.5 CS is enough to cover 833 to 2500 m' of surface area with a residual control of up to 4 months.
